Course Details

There is a huge gap in the number of practising medical doctors in the UK. To fill this gap we require qualified doctors to come to the UK and be able to practice on patients. To be able to practice legally in the UK, overseas doctors will have to pass both parts of the PLAB exam. As part of this course we will:

  • Support your visa application by providing you with the appropriate documentation
  • Guarantee job opportunities
  • Organise interviews with hospitals (practice and real jobs)
  • PLAB teaching for 1 & 2
  • Life in the UK – experience of practicing in the UK as a doctor – medico legal, communication, culture

Length of course: 1 year
180 UK credits, 90 ECTS credits, 36 US credits

This programme is taught at the MSc level and is a one-year full time. This programme not only delivers the knowledge and skills required for the PLAB examinations, but also graduates the students with a Level 7 University degree.

Full Time Applicants

  • Undergraduate Degree in a medical field
  • Letter of good standing or equivalent from an appropriate regulatory medical body, and
  • Applicants will need to demonstrate evidence of professional indemnity cover

English Language Requirements

Our courses require a minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, with no band score under 5.5. If you do not meet the English language requirement we will give you a conditional offer subject to you meeting the requirement before the commencement of the course.
