Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3)

The College of Medicine and Dentistry has gained a license to teach the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Diploma in Dental Nursing. This programme is fully accredited by the NEBDN and is also approved by the General Dental Council (GDC). The diploma is taught fully online allowing you to have a work/study life balance. The programme covers the NEBDN syllabus and includes all areas of knowledge and understanding that a dental nurse needs in order to develop and practise competently.

Practical workshops
As part of the course you are required to carry out practical work in a clinical field setting. If you already work in a practice, you are all set. If not, then do not worry, you are still able to start the course and we will help you find a job within 3-months at a practice near you so you are able to carry out practical work and potentially earn money simultaneously. If you are not able to find a job within the 3-months, we can pause your learning and help support you find employment to continue with your qualification.

This course is delivered entirely online; you will be able to attend both live and recorded seminars on our advanced virtual learning platform. The practical sessions are also recorded, and the relevant materials are posted for you to complete the practical elements in your practice.

There are no formal entry requirements but students are expected to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good understanding of English.
